TATC Special Committees and its Members

In addition to the Executive Committee, the Tanzania Association of Tax Consultants (TATC) has established a series of Special Committees, each focused on addressing specific tasks that align with and advance the association’s Objectives and Goals. These special committees play a crucial role in organizing, managing, and executing the association’s core activities, ensuring that TATC continues to support its members and contribute effectively to Tanzania’s tax landscape.

1. TECHNICAL COMMITTEE

Focuses on examining tax-related technical issues, reviewing legislative changes, and offering expert advice to TATC members. The committee conducts research and prepares technical guidance documents, ensuring that members stay informed on tax law developments and compliance best practices.

2. MEMBERS AFFAIRS AND PROFESSIONAL ETHICS COMMITTEE

Addresses matters related to member welfare, including concerns, benefits, and ethics. This committee upholds TATC’s standards for professional behavior, promotes adherence to ethical practices, and serves as a support resource for members facing ethical challenges.

3. TAX EDUCATION AND PUBLICITY COMMITTEE

Promotes tax literacy and awareness among members and the public. The committee organizes public campaigns, publishes informative content, and engages in outreach to enhance understanding of tax issues, making tax education accessible and relevant.

4. TRAINING COMMITTEE

Responsible for organizing training sessions, workshops, and seminars aimed at the continuing professional development (CPD) of TATC members. The committee ensures members have access to the latest knowledge, skills, and industry insights through well-curated educational programs.

5. LEGAL MATTERS COMMITTEE

Handles legal concerns within the association, advising on regulatory compliance, member disputes, and other legal matters. This committee ensures TATC's actions align with legal standards and provides members with guidance on legal issues affecting their practice.

6. SOCIAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

7. FINANCE COMMITTEE

8. AUDIT COMMITTEE
